1. Our services

Dhaaga provides digital fundraising services to registered NGOs and nonprofit organisations in India. Our services include online donor acquisition through performance marketing, online marketing grant unlocking, donor management and retention systems, fundraising analytics and reporting, digital fundraising training, and NGO digital presence development.

All services are provided subject to a separate written service agreement between Dhaaga and the client NGO. These Terms govern your use of our website and general engagement with Dhaaga, while specific service terms, deliverables, fees, and timelines are set out in the applicable service agreement.

2. Website use

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use the website in any way that violates applicable Indian or international laws or regulations
• Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its related systems
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the website without our prior written consent
• Upload or transmit any material that is defamatory, offensive, or otherwise objectionable
• Impersonate Dhaaga or any other person or entity

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the website for any user who violates these Terms or uses the website in a manner that we consider harmful to Dhaaga or other users.

3. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — is the property of Dhaaga and is protected by applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws.

The THREAD Framework™ and Dhaaga Trust Score™ are proprietary methodologies developed by Dhaaga. The names, processes, and associated materials are Dhaaga's intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use these methodologies without our prior written permission.

You may view and print pages from this website for personal, non-commercial use only. Any other use of the content on this website requires our express written permission.

4. Contact form and enquiries

When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, you consent to Dhaaga contacting you to discuss your NGO's fundraising needs. We will use the information you provide solely for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and assessing how Dhaaga may be able to help your organisation.

Submitting an enquiry does not constitute a binding agreement or commitment on either party. Any engagement between Dhaaga and your organisation will be governed by a separate written service agreement.

We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours on business days (Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm IST).

5. Service agreements and fees

Our service fees, payment terms, and deliverables are set out in individual service agreements with each client NGO. The pricing shown on this website is indicative and subject to confirmation in a formal service agreement.

Performance fees (the percentage of funds raised) are calculated on the basis of net funds received by the client NGO that are directly attributable to Dhaaga's campaigns, as defined in the applicable service agreement.

Online marketing grant unlocking services are subject to the client NGO meeting eligibility requirements set by the relevant grant providers. Dhaaga does not guarantee grant approval and is not liable if an NGO's application is declined by a third-party grant provider.

6. Confidentiality

Dhaaga treats all client information — including donor data, fundraising results, campaign performance, and organisational details — as strictly confidential. We will not share, sell, or disclose this information to any third party except as required to deliver our services or as required by law.

For pilot clients who have agreed to allow case study publication, we will only publish anonymised information (results, metrics, and sector details) without naming the organisation unless express written consent has been provided.

Client NGOs agree to keep the specific processes, methodologies, and grant programs used by Dhaaga confidential and not to share this information with third parties.

7. Data protection and privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using our website or services, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

We handle all donor data provided by client NGOs in accordance with applicable Indian data protection laws and in line with the donor's reasonable expectations of how their data will be used.

8. Third-party platforms and tools

Dhaaga's services involve the use of third-party digital platforms, advertising networks, and software tools. While we select and manage these tools carefully on behalf of our clients, we are not responsible for changes to third-party platform policies, pricing, availability, or performance that are outside our control.

Online marketing grants are provided by third-party organisations and are subject to their own terms and conditions. Dhaaga manages grant accounts in compliance with all applicable third-party requirements.

9. Limitation of liability

Dhaaga's website and services are provided in good faith and on the basis of best professional practice. However, we make no warranties — express or implied — regarding the results of any specific campaign, the amount of funds raised, or the approval of any grant application.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dhaaga's total liability to any client or website user shall not exceed the total fees paid by that client to Dhaaga in the three months preceding the relevant claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from your use of our website or services, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of opportunity.

10. Termination of services

Either party may terminate a Dhaaga service agreement by providing written notice as specified in the applicable service agreement. Upon termination, Dhaaga will provide the client NGO with all campaign data, donor records, and account access that belongs to the client.

Dhaaga reserves the right to refuse service or terminate any engagement if we determine that an organisation's activities are inconsistent with our values, violate applicable laws, or would cause harm to donors or the wider community.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

We encourage all disputes to be resolved through good-faith direct discussion before any formal legal proceedings are initiated.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of our website or services after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with any changes, please discontinue use of our website and contact us to discuss your service agreement.
